"I remember flying from Nanaimo, B.C. to Manitoulin Island, to spend every summer with my grandparents. I spent hours swimming, canoeing and running through waterfalls and learned so much about a native culture I didn't see a lot of out west! As an adult I still make time to visit Manitoulin Island every summer!
