Since 1946 Charlton Lake Camp has welcomed guests to the quiet splendor of the La Cloche Mountains. The camp is set amid towering pines and is surrounded by sculpted white quartzite bluffs and pristine waters that inspired Group of Seven artists with their unique beauty. Our goal is to help you relax, have fun, and create wonderful vacation memories in this very special place.
Charlton Lake Camp is a self-catering housekeeping resort featuring clean, comfortable waterfront cottages. Each of our 12 cottages includes fully equipped kitchen, 3-piece bath, propane grill and fuel, and screened porch. We provide all bed linens and pillows; washcloths and bath towels; kitchen towels, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags
The camp has a sandy beach with swim/dive platform and roped-off swim area. The central fire pit hosts evening marshmallow roasts and the occasional sing-along. Our camp also features hiking trails, horseshoe pits, peddle boats, hammocks, beach chairs, and children’s play area. We offer a lending library with lots of books, games, and jigsaw puzzles.
Our rental fleet includes Lund fishing boats with Yamaha 9.9hp motors, canoes, kayaks, and an 18-foot pontoon boat.
